Archery

      Archery is so popular today in the U.S. because the Hunger Games is so popular in the U.S.  There are some other reasons.  First, young girls long for Katniss because she is cool, role model, female heroin, independent, beautiful, strong, powerful, and natural.  They think that want to be like Katniss.  Second, there is archery event in the Olympics.  Therefore, the Olympics shown all over the world.  Almost people like to watch the Olympics.  Third, archery is an independent sport.  You can play anytime and anywhere because archery plays only one person.  However, team sports can’t play alone.  They need a lot of people.  For example, basketball can’t play alone.  Finally, archery can play everyone.  For instant, father can communicate with daughter.  And more, if you aren’t good at playing sport, you can play archery since archery doesn’t need physical strength.  For example, if you play basketball, you might need physical strength.  For these four reasons, I think that archery is so popular today in the U.S.  In Japan, we can see the Hunger Games soon, so archery is also much popular.

      “Happy Hunger Games”.  Do you want to participate in the Hunger Games?  If you take part in the tour, you can be tributes.  You can be Katniss.  We offer two types of Day Tours.  One is tour by shuttle, the other is tour by on foot. These tours are limited 30 guests.  You should take part in this tour.  If you don’t take part in this tour, you may regret it.  They won’t be around long.  You can stay base camp and you can practice archery like Katniss.  The cost is $80 per person, and more, this tour includes every dish.  The dates are “May 26, May 27, July 14, July 15, Aug 11, and Aug 12”.  There are a lot of chances to participate in this tour.  Don’t miss it.

The Hunger Games

      In my opinion, I was so surprised to watch the movie.  There are three reasons.  First of all, the monsters, which are controlled by Gamemakers, suddenly appeared in the arena.  In the movie, I can listen to character’s voices and sounds, so I was so surprised.  Second, Haymitch is so kind in the movie.  According to the book, he is so strange because he always drinks alcohol and he isn’t cooperative with Katniss and Peeta.  Third, Rue was killed by District 1 by chance.  Katniss avoided the arrow from him and Rue was stuck by the arrow.  The book doesn’t have this image so I was shocked.  For these three reasons, I think that I was so surprised and excited by the movie.

Spring break

                    In my spring break, I went to Seattle with my friends.  I was so nervous before I went there because I worried that we would go there ourselves and book our hotel, but Seattle was so exciting.  We stayed in Seattle for 3 days.  On the train, we made a friend.  She is Chinese.  Her name is Ritta.  We talked about China, Seattle, Chinese, and Japanese.  It was so fun.  We make a friend in face book, too.  We went to a lot of places.  The first day, we arrived at 5p.m.  At first, we walked around near our hotel, so we went to supermarket and we ate dinner at Osaka teriyaki.  The second day, we went to The 1^st starbucks store.  It was beautiful.  We went to Pike Place Market.  After that, we went to Space Needle.  It was so high.  The view is so amazing.  We could see around the Seattle.  We ate dinner at The Cheese cake factory.  It was delicious.  The third day, we went to Uwagimaya and Kinokuniya.  We could buy a lot of things.  Our trip was so fun.

Pow Wow

      The Native American people at the Pow Wow were very interesting for me. Especially, I liked their clothes. There are three reasons.  First, their clothes were very colorful.  For example, they painted their faces.  It was so interesting.  Second, they looked heavy because they had a large eagle’s feather and bells.  I thought they looked like eagles.  Third, the Native American’s clothes were different from gender.  For example, the men wore the clothes which looked like an eagle; however, the women wore dresses with bells.  It was so surprising for me.  In conclusion, the Native American event called a Pow Wow, was very interesting for me.
